Wimbledon drama about 18-year-olds: Emma Raducanu can smile again

First we suffered with her, now she gives us that smile.

After Emma Raducanu (18) had to give up her round of 16 at Wimbledon on Monday against the Australian Ajla Tomljanovic, the tennis world worried about the talent.

The number 338 in the world had to struggle with severe shortness of breath, repeatedly reaching into the stomach area. Despite a break in treatment, she was unable to return to the field.

Now the 18-year-old tennis hope can smile again!

Emma Raducanu was now happy on Instagram. First she shone in the EM semifinals between England and Denmark (2: 1 nV) from the Wembley Stadium. In a previous TV interview, the tennis teen smiled happily again.

The reason: the pain is gone. She tipped a 2-1 for her English team in the semi-finals and is now looking forward to the European Championship final against Italy.

Regarding missing the quarter-finals, Raducanu says: “I played the best tennis of my life this week in front of an incredible crowd and I think the whole experience caught up with me. I will cherish everything we have achieved together this week and come back strengthened! I can’t wait to see what’s next on my trip. “
