Werder Bremen: If Josh Sargent leaves – Marvin Ducksch is a candidate

Is Markus beginning (46) luring one of his ex-players to Werder?

Marvin Ducksch (27) was the top scorer in the 2nd division at Holstein Kiel 2018 (18 hits). Then the striker flopped in Düsseldorf and went to Hanover after one season.

It is still just a should-if-maybe consideration. But it could mess up the plans.

The future Hanover coach Jan Zimmermann (41) plans to attack with Hendrik Weydandt (25) and Ducksch. But the number of inquiries is increasing for the top Knipser (31 goals in two seasons). In an emergency, a replacement is needed.

Several English clubs, Mainz and Schalke are said to have dealt with Ducksch. And Bremen has now also shown interest.

Werder knock on Ducksch!

According to BILD information, the Bundesliga relegated person contacted the 96 goalscorer. Ducksch should come – but only if other strikers can be released and Werder would be liquid again …

Hot candidate next to winger Milot Rashica (24) is especially Josh Sargent (21). For the striker (market value 9 million euros) there is interest from the Bundesliga, a change is becoming more and more realistic. Niclas Füllkrug (28) should stay on the other hand.

Ducksch (market value 2 million euros) still has a well-paid contract with 96 until 2022. The Reds would like to extend it. An offer is available. Should Ducksch refuse, a summer change would be possible. To still collect the transfer fee, 96 would have to sell it. To Bremen?
