VfB Stuttgart: Who will solve the storm blockade now? BILD does the check

The VfB offensive currently has a lot of sand in the machine. At the start of the season, Stuttgart Fürth still shot 5-1. Since then, there have only been a measly four hits in five games.

Coach Pellegrino Matarazzo (43): “We lack the precision and timing on the last pass to develop even more goal danger.”

Who will now solve the storm blockade at VfB? BILD does the check …

► Chris Führich (23): After a two-month injury break (broken collarbone) in Bochum with a strong VfB premiere. Matarazzo: “Chris was extremely invigorating, a good debut.” Conclusion: It still takes until he is really fit. But he gives hope.

► Omar Marmoush (23): The storm loan from Wolfsburg started with a goal in Frankfurt (1: 1). Sports director Sven Mislintat (48): “Omar is a great fit for us.” But recently, a bit submerged. Conclusion: needs a good day to get carried away.

► Hamadi Al Ghaddioui (30): The 1.90-meter giant comes very close to the profile of the injured Sasa Kalajdzic (24 / shoulder surgery) and is the most successful VfB striker so far with a meager three hits. Conclusion: At least his experience can help the young team.

► Tanguy Coulibaly (20): The young Frenchman’s pace and physique keep flashing, he does not deliver constant performance. Conclusion: Due to technical weaknesses, he doesn’t really bring the VfB offensive any further.

► Wahid Faghir (18): The Danish storm jewel is still out of action for VfB, recently he was also absent due to muscular problems. Mislintat: “It is quite normal that he needs time.” Conclusion: Faghir is not an emergency aid, but an investment in the future.

► Erik Thommy (27): The wing racer is still at VfB and hardly plays a role in sport. Remained pale even during his brief assignment in Bochum. Conclusion: Can’t help.

Without question, the greatest hope lies in Sasa Kalajdzic (24 / shoulder) and Silas (22 / cruciate ligament tear). But you won’t be back for a few weeks.
