Tung Duong sings about a nun who died of Covid-19


Tung Duong released the MV “Nowhere” on December 22, in memory of Sister Maria Tran Ngoc Thao Linh, who died at the age of 32 from Covid-19.

The song was put together by Nhuan Phu from the poem Wind by writer Thuong Ha, was born after the author read an article about the example of Maria Tran Ngoc Thao Linh – a volunteer supporting frontline doctors, who died in September.

The song has a magical melody, conveys the thoughts of the author and singer about the human condition: “My brother is gone, my brother is gone, my brother is forever… The image of a bright cross illuminating the human world , warm the world, cold winter night… The cross is sad, pours sorrow over me”. The singer said that he made a Christmas song with the aim of comforting the family of the victims who died of Covid-19.

The MV was filmed at a church in Tam Dao (Vinh Phuc), in cold weather. Nam Phuong – Miss elegant schoolgirl in the capital 2019 – close illustration. The crew said she chose her because of her holy face, suitable for the song’s theme.

Author Nhuan Phu is Tung Duong’s cousin. He said that when he was a child, when his parents lived abroad, his cousin loved and cared for him. In return, after entering the Vietnam National Academy of Music, he taught her basic knowledge of vocals, and commented on her works.
