TSV Hannover-Burgdorf – You only meet old friends

The first leg on September 26, 2021 went down in the history books of handball Bundesliga club TSV Hannover-Burgdorf. The warriors lost 16:38 at HSG Wetzlar, the highest defeat in almost 13 years of being in the first division. The mega bankruptcy has been driving Hannover-Burgdorf since then – and paralyzed it again on Sunday at 10:28 p.m. (10:14 a.m.).

Hanover only meets old acquaintances!

The second beating by the Hessians, who started with Hanover’s former professional Filip Mirkulovski, quickly became apparent. 4:10 (20 th ) the warriors were behind, they didn’t get any access at the back, almost every pass at the front was just a passing on of responsibility.

If there were clear chances, Wetzlar’s national keeper Till Klimpke was literally thrown warm. Embarrassing coronation when stretching right winger Johan Hansen (turned 28 yesterday) slipped the ball from his hand at the seven-meter throw (26th).

Slapstick even after the break. Ivan Martinovic hit the crossbar on the break (38′), Veit Mävers, free from the circle, didn’t hit the half-empty goal (41′). In the condition of yesterday, the warriors are not a clear favorite in the duels against Balingen (May 12th), in Minden (May 19th) and in Lübbecke (June 9th), which will decide the relegation.

Hanover gates: Büchner 9, Hansen 3, Mävers 3/1, Böhm 2, Edvardsson 2, Pevnov 2, Kuzmanovski 1.
