Tough judo elimination – twins battled for an Olympic place

Theresa Stoll (25) has a big job in Tokyo: laying people down!

Munich’s Juduka knows how to win medals. In June she won bronze in the class up to 57 kilos at the World Championships in Budapest.

Theresa is now dreaming of the precious metal in Japan: “This is the moment you train for so long, your entire life as an athlete. The nice thing about judo is that everyone can win. Milli-seconds decide. If you are not careful, you will lie on your back. If I’m in top shape on the X day and perform well, I have great confidence in myself.

Theresa won a tough fight in advance!

She had to qualify for the Olympics against her twin sister Amelie (25). In Munich they live in a shared apartment, train together and fight in the same weight class.

Amelie reveals: “When we fight against each other, we don’t talk to each other afterwards. But that will be reflected again. “

Amelie is now also in Tokyo – as Theresa’s training partner!
