These new rates have also been implemented from 12 January 2022. According to the bank, on FDs of more than 2 crores whose maturity period is more than 2 years, its interest rate has been increased by 5-10 basis points. At the same time, FDs for more than 2 years to 3 years will get an interest rate of 5.2 percent. At the same time, an interest rate of 5.4 percent will be available for FDs of 3 years to 5 years. At the same time, 5.6 percent interest rate will be available on FDs ranging from 5 years to 10 years.

The bank has informed its customers about this through a message. It has been told in the message (Inform Customers Through Message) that interest has been increased on FDs of less than Rs 2 crore for 3 years 1 day to 5 years. All these increased rates will be applicable from 12 January 2022. Let us tell you that 2.50 percent rate of interest is available on FDs with maturity of 7-29 days in the bank. At the same time, 3% rate of interest is available for 30 to 90 days. At the same time, a rate of interest of 3.5 percent is available on FDs ranging from 91 to 6 months. At the same time, the rate of interest on FDs from 6 months to 1 year is 4.4 percent. At the same time, the rate of interest on the bank’s 1-year FD is 4.9 percent. Keep in mind that this rate of interest is for an amount less than Rs 2 crore.

SBI’s rate of interest is so much
In the country’s largest public sector bank State Bank of India, the rate of interest on FDs of less than 2 crores ranges from 2.9 percent to 5.4 percent. Let us tell you that FD in the bank is done for 7 days to 10 years. On the other hand, if you talk about ICICI Bank, then here you will get 2.5 to 5.5 percent FD on FDs ranging from 7 days to 10 years at the rate of interest.
