According to stock market analysts “Titan Company has delivered better than expected results for Q1FY22. After the easing of COVID-19 restrictions from June 2021, the company is witnessing a strong recovery in the demand for jewelery and non-jewellery segment. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala The company has maintained gross profit margin on both YoY and QoQ basis.

Experts say that mandatory jewelery hallmarking and local initiatives will enable the company to gain market share. The ratio of new customers to the overall business has reached pre-pandemic levels, indicating strong growth prospects.

Experts say that Titan’s position will remain optimistic given the strong parentage, brand, market position and strength of the balance sheet.

3.72 percent stake in Jhunjhunwala’s company

  • According to the shareholding pattern of Titan Company, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and his wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala hold around four per cent stake in the company in the first quarter of FY 2021-22.
  • Rakesh Jhunjhunwala currently holds 72 per cent stake in the company.
  • His wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala holds 09 per cent stake in Titan. Rekha Jhunjhunwala holds 96,40,575 shares of the company.
