Forced to rapidly transform their organization, current leaders are bringing up the next generation.
The next generation is preparing for the head of family businesses. The health crisis, which hit the economy hard, highlighted the concerns of the new generations, who are very involved in environmental and societal issues. The period therefore encourages some leaders to pass the baton, at least to begin – and sometimes earlier than expected – the long journey of transmission, which can take up to ten years.
The second edition – from September 13 – of the Family Business Accelerator, organized by Bpifrance and the Family Business Network (FBN) France association, is therefore timely.
About twenty participants have already registered for this intergenerational program which will last 24 months. “In a context of innovation and upheaval, the managers of family businesses feel the need to put new blood in their organization.», Observes Guillaume Mortelier, executive director of Support at Bpifrance.
