The Sensex started today with a gain of 168 points at 58,030 level and Nifty started at the level of 17329 with 42.50 points. In the early trade today, the market is rising with the help of a jump in IT and metal stocks.

Today, out of 50 Nifty stocks, there is an increase in 25 stocks and 25 shares are trading in the red mark of decline. Talking about Bank Nifty, it is trading by breaking more than 100 points. Bank Nifty is trading at the level of 36,325.

Except for Bank, FMCG, Financial Sector, PSU and Private Bank Sector, all other sectoral indices are trading in the green mark of bullishness. Metal stocks are the biggest gainer of 1.91 per cent and media stocks are up 1.5 per cent. Auto stocks are registering a gain of 0.74 percent.
Hindalco 3.52 per cent, Wipro 2.3 per cent, Maruti 2.25 per cent are seen on the rise. ONGC is trading with a jump of 2.06 per cent and Infosys by 1.5 per cent.

Asian Paints is down 1.65 percent, Grasim 1.58 percent and PowerGrid 1.18 percent. Kotak Bank is down 1.05 per cent and Britannia 1.03 per cent.
