What was said in the news?
It was claimed in the media report that Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited and his family may divide their time between London and Mumbai in future. The Ambani family is building a luxurious house on 300 acres of land located in Stoke Park, Buckinghamshire in London. Mukesh Ambani’s new house also has 49 bedrooms and a mini hospital. According to the report, Ambani has bought this land for Rs 592 crore. Now these reports have been rejected by Reliance.
The report claimed that the Ambani family spent most of their time inside their posh sky-high residence ‘Antilia’ located on Mumbai’s Altamount Road during the lockdown and pandemic. During this time the family realized that they needed a second home. During the lockdown, the family also spent a lot of time in Jamnagar, where their flagship refinery is located which is also the largest in the world.
Media reports said that the Ambani family usually celebrates Diwali with much fanfare at their Mumbai home, but this would be the first year in a long time that the family celebrated Diwali outside the country.
