Fuel Price Hike: The process of increasing the prices of petrol and diesel continues continuously. Within fifteen days so far, the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased 13 times by the oil companies. On the one hand, while the prices of crude oil are coming down in the international market and it has come down to around $ 100 per barrel, on the other hand, by increasing its prices, the general public is being given a shock of inflation.
Petrol and diesel prices have once again been increased by 80-80 paise in both. After this increased price, petrol in the national capital Delhi today has become Rs 104 61 per liter while diesel is being sold at Rs 95 and 87 paise per liter.
Petrol and diesel prices have increased in Mumbai for the 13th time in the last 15 days. From 6 am today, the price of petrol in Mumbai has increased by 84 paise per liter while the price of diesel has increased by 85 paise per liter. The latest price of petrol in Mumbai today is 119.67 paise while that of diesel is 103.92 paise.
This happened twice in fifteen days when there was no increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. After about 137 days, oil prices started increasing from 22 March and in 15 days only two days i.e. on 24 March and 1 April, there was no increase in oil prices.
