Nguyen Thanh Binh writes music from his travels

Blind musician Nguyen Thanh Binh released the song “We have each other in this youth” inspired by trips before Covid-19.

The song has romantic lyrics, about a couple’s dream of bonding. Nguyen Thanh Binh said: “Before the epidemic, my wife and I often traveled and experienced many lands from the North to the South. Even though I couldn’t see it, I tried to feel the romantic pine forest scene in Da Lat or the mountains. majestic in the North. These materials create emotions for me to write songs.”

“The night seems to go by so slowly
Why is it so lonely tonight
Tonight nostalgia wakes me up
I hope you are with me right now
I wandered through many cities
Wherever we go, only we know each other’s names.”

The song has a bright, catchy and modern melody than Nguyen Thanh Binh’s previous compositions. The musician combines rapper Mars to make the song closer to young audiences. He chose Lam Bao Ngoc – The runner-up of The Voice 2019 – to perform the song because she has a soaring voice that matches the optimistic, life-loving spirit he wanted to convey.
