Today, the prices of many oils including mustard, soybean, CPO, palmolein and cottonseed have seen a fall in the oil-oilseeds market of Delhi. At the same time, there has been no change in the prices of some oils.

Mustard oil becomes cheaper
According to experts, there will be no trading on the Malaysia Exchange till May 4. At the same time, the Chicago Exchange has seen a decline of 3.5 percent. Sources said that the demand for edible oils in the market is weak, due to which there has been a decline in business. The arrival of mustard declined from about 7 lakh bags last week to 5.5 lakh bags on Monday, but due to weak demand, there was a fall in mustard oil-oilseeds prices.

Government can also adopt the option of PDS
Let us tell you that due to being cheaper than palmolein and soybean, refined mustard oil is being made in abundance to meet its shortage. He said that co-operative society Hafed should make immediate purchase of mustard in the market and make stock of it, which will be useful to the country in difficult times. By doing this, the government can also try the option of helping the poor in times of need and making mustard oil available to them cheaply through the Public Distribution System (PDS).
