Les Petits Bidons, the start-up that is reinventing powder

Did you know that you shouldn’t overwater your compost? Where does a French person throw 7 kilos of still packaged food every year? On Instagram, where it has more than 45,000 subscribers (and as many on Facebook), the Les Petits Bidons brand alternates household advice and small news on the state of the planet, in colorful posts where familiarity is required.

The “small cans” are powder or bottled detergents, tablets and washing-up liquids, as well as soaps and sponges. That is 14 household products made in France and ultra-ecological, with fully recyclable packaging, zero palm oil or any derivative of petrochemicals.

And above all a very responsive community, which passes on tips on the use of baking soda and white vinegar or gives its opinion on the “white flower” scent of concentrated laundry. Among the subscribers, early faithful who did not hesitate to put in the pot, via a crowdfunding, to support Cyril Neve’s project
