Against Heidenheim (2-0), Faride Alidou (20) was one of HSV’s assets and prepared the 1-0. In Sandhausen (1: 1) the youngster didn’t get along very well. Now he has a strong competitor breathing down his neck in Giorgi Chakvetadze (22).

Will Chakvetadze start for Alidou against Bremen on Sunday?
Still open. One thing is clear: the Georgian on loan from KAA Gent is getting better and better in Hamburg. After twelve minutes of action in Darmstadt (5:0) and 24 minutes against Heidenheim, Chakvetadze was allowed to play a full half in Sandhausen.
Sports director Michael Mutzel (42): “Giorgi made good decisions in attack. You can see that he is getting better and better in rhythm and getting more power. He can always create something offensive.”
