Hannover 96: Lukas Hinterseer and Mike Frantz not there against Düsseldorf

You have to go to the stands. For the third time in a row Lukas Hinterseer and Mike Frantz didn’t make it into the match day squad.

Frustration hat-trick for Hinterseer and Frantz.

After two games without defeat and the redeeming 3-1 victory in Aue, the coach against Düsseldorf obviously saw little reason for changes. Lawrence Ennali was again ignored by Christoph Dabrowski. Dabro relies on the same squad as in Aue. U23 clipper Moussa Doumbouya is also back for the third time in a row.

“Each player has a chance every week to be back in the squad for the next game,” says Dabro. “We decided on this constellation for the last two games – and the players who were there. That also led to points.” Good for the Reds, bad for Hinterseer and Frantz.

Frustration also threatens Cedric Teuchert. After his poor performance in Aue, he could be put on the bench against Düsseldorf.

In secret training sessions during the week, Christoph Dabrowski had the 3-5-2 system with a back three and two strikers practiced. Is there still no room for Teuchert?

The new signing from Union Berlin disappointed in Aue, was the worst red in the unloved outside position (BILD rating 5).

Teuchert feels more comfortable in a two-man attack, but is no longer set. The former U21 international is fighting for one of the two places with Hendrik Weydandt and Maxi Beier.

Luka Krajnc is about to return to the starting XI. The ex-Düsseldorfer was last allowed to start six weeks ago (1: 3 in Sandhausen), last stabilized the defensive in the final phase in Aue.
