Lukas Hinterseer (30) has to go goalless in the Christmas break. The Austrian tested positive for Corona and is in quarantine at home. He has typical cold symptoms (cough, runny nose, body aches) – get well soon.
However, Hendrik Weydandt (26) gave the all-clear! The blow on the instep was painful, but fortunately without any serious consequences. Henne trained fully again on Thursday and can storm Werder on Sunday.
Trainer Christoph Dabrowski (37): “Henne trained normally. It is an option to help us. “
Permanent joker Weydandt is now Derby hope!
He was substituted on 13 times this season, in Ingolstadt (2-1) after 65 minutes. He was only in the starting line-up twice this season – the last time on August 28 in Darmstadt (0: 4). Almost four months ago!
Since then he has only been a wild card. In Düsseldorf (1: 1) and Karlsruhe (0: 4) he came to the break.
“You can always rely on Henne”, praises sports director Marcus Mann (37): “He is impeccable in character, always gives full throttle and always does his best.”
After a long time without form, Hennes form curve has clearly shown up in the past few weeks. Now it’s time to score again.
His only one so far this season he scored on August 20 against Heidenheim. Henne, who only came on as a substitute in the 75th minute, chased the ball into the net shortly before the end after a defensive mistake for the 1-0 winner.

Will he also score in the northern derby? In any case, Henne has fond memories of Werder. It was August 15, 2018, when he made his first Bundesliga appearance in the 75th minute – 81 seconds later he took the 1-0 lead (final score 1: 1) and finally became a fairytale striker.
They meet again with Niclas Füllkrug and Marvin Ducksch. With both of them he stormed at 96, learned a lot from them. On Sunday he can show what he’s got.
