Hannover 96: Frantz and Evina finally back! Another break for Twumasi

Because of the weather conditions, the comeback was temporarily in danger. But then the decision was made to go through with it anyway as planned.

Mike Frantz (34 / torn thigh muscle) and Franck Evina (20 / torn outer ligament) returned to the field on Tuesday after a three-and-a-half month break.

The Reds hope that vice-captain Frantz in particular will be able to help again quickly despite the long injury.

Coach Kenan Kocak: “Mike is a very important player and a personality. He is also an asset to us in the dressing room. I am glad that he is very close again. “

Linton Maina (21), whose meniscus had been smoothed during knee surgery in January, still needs time.

Another break for Twumasi

In contrast, the Reds have to do without Patrick Twumasi (26) again.

The wing racer had been hit on the thigh in Braunschweig and had to leave early. Big bad luck again!

Upon examination, a torn muscle was diagnosed. “He will be out for the next three weeks,” said coach Kenan Kocak.

Bitter for Twumasi, who was injured in January. Maybe he has such good healing meat again and will return sooner. In his brace against Sandhausen (4-0), he suffered a knee injury, but, contrary to all fears, was only missing one game.

On Friday against Paderborn (6.30 p.m.) Kingsley Schindler should return to the right side.
