Hannover 96: Coach Jan Zimmermann throws Patrick Twumasi out

The new 96 team is there – but one should still be gone.

Patrick Twumasi (27) was not even allowed to take part in the test kick at VfL Wolfsburg (3: 3) on Wednesday. The striker had to train in Hanover instead.

Coach Jan Zimmermann (41): “We filled all positions twice today, so it was better for him to train today.”

The striker had already been left out in team training and had to practice in a “training group 2” with three young players while colleagues rehearsed tactical processes.

96 wants to get rid of high earners Twumasi (around 75,000 euros / month). “The transfer window is still open in some countries, a change cannot be ruled out,” says sports director Marcus Mann (37).

According to BILD information, a transfer to the United Arab Emirates has failed. There are still two hot prospects in Turkey. The transfer window will not close until September 8th.

There should be no deportation to the U23. Man assumes that Twumasi will be “normal” with the professionals on the pitch for the next few days.

Twumasi came from Alaves a year ago as a “king transfer” for 750,000 euros, but never managed to prevail at 96.
