Hannover 96: Also at HSV! No place for 0-goal striker Lukas Hinterseer

He scored ten goals in 36 games for HSV. But after Simon Terodde (34) signed, Lukas Hinterseer (31) was out and fled to South Korea in January 2021. At 96 he returns to Hamburg for the first time – as a bench presser.

Hinterseer stays seated!

“Basically, we don’t give out gifts,” says coach Christoph Dabrowski (43). Means that Hinterseer is not in the starting XI again despite HSV’s past.

No new situation for Ösi! Most recently, he spent 90 minutes on the bench twice, and before that he was not in the squad three times in a row. Last action was on March 19th – one minute against Schalke (1:2)…

Bitter for the striker who has not scored a single goal in 15 games. Hinterseer has a contract until 2023. Darmstadt is said to be interested.

At HSV, Dabro trusts the winners of Karlsruhe. So again with Weydandt (instead of Hinterseer), Diemers (instead of Kaiser), Maina (instead of Stolze or Teuchert) and Ochs (instead of Hult). Should Krajnc (calf problems) have to pass, Walbrecht will come in.

The coach: “I saw a team against Karlsruhe that fought unconditionally to achieve our goal. The guys who were on the pitch did well. I don’t know if there is a reason to change anything…” There isn’t!
