Hannover 96: After an attack of dizziness: Zieler is doing better

No final all-clear yet, but still good news from the world champion.

In Sandhausen, Ron-Robert Zieler (33) had to stay in the dressing room at half-time with circulatory problems and dizzy spells. After returning to Hanover, the goalkeeper will now be examined closely.

The exact results are not yet available, but it is already clear: Zieler has apparently caught a virus. But it is not Covid. The (self) test was negative. Sports director Marcus Mann: “We now have to wait and see whether the blood values ​​provide precise information.”

But it’s better on target. He should continue to rest and rest.

Open when the world champion will start training this week. With the Reds, however, they assume that Zieler can be in goal against Nuremberg on Sunday.

The problems started on the Friday before the Sandhausen game, and Zieler was also absent from the final training session. But he gave the green light for the game. Mann: “We made the decision together. It was the wrong one.”
