First Indian company to achieve $100 billion in revenue in 2021-22

Reliance Industries Q4 Results: Reliance Industries has announced the financial results for the fourth quarter of the 2021-22 financial year. In the fourth quarter, the net profit of Reliance Industries has increased by 22.50 percent. The company has informed the stock exchange that its net profit in the January-March quarter stood at Rs 16,203 crore, as against Rs 13,227 crore in the same quarter in 2020-21.

Revenue from operations of Reliance Industries grew by 36.79 per cent to Rs 2,11,887 crore as against Rs 1,54,896 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s board has also announced a dividend of Rs 8 per share.

$100 billion in sales
The revenue of Reliance Industries for the entire financial year has been Rs 7.92 lakh crore i.e. $ 104.6 billion. Reliance Industries has become the first Indian company to achieve more than $100 billion in revenue. At the same time, Reliance has made a profit of Rs 67,845 crore in the entire financial year.

Reliance Jio results
Reliance Jio Infocomm’s net profit stood at Rs 4,173 crore in the fourth quarter of the current financial year, as against Rs 3,615 crore in the previous quarter. In the fourth quarter, Reliance Jio’s income grew by 8 per cent to Rs 20,901 crore as against Rs 19,347 crore in the third quarter of the same financial year.
