FC St. Pauli: return to Hamburg? Mini-chance on Rodrigo Zalazar

Training starts on July 1st at Eintracht Frankfurt. What does that have to do with FC St. Pauli? Then the future of Rodrigo Zalazar (21) decide. Because the Kiez-Klub has tender hopes of luring the whirlwind to Hamburg again.

St. Pauli’s mini-chance at Zalazar!

Six goals, six assists, part of the strong diamond – Zalazar’s loan deal was extremely successful. It goes without saying that sports boss Andreas Bornemann (49) would like to have such a player in the squad again. Especially since St. Pauli is looking for a strong eighth team anyway. Zalazar would be the ideal solution.

After his vacation in Benalmadena (Spain), Zalazar will step back on July 1st. under Frankfurt’s new trainer Oliver Glasner during training. The Uruguayan (contract until 2023) wants to convince the coach of his qualities – and of course play in the Bundesliga. Sports director Markus Krösche recently demanded that he want more speed in the team. That goes with the super sprinter and long-term runner Zalazar, of course.

However: Should it not fit with Eintracht, St. Pauli would be one of the first points of contact for a renewed loan. That is exactly where the opportunity lies. And in the fact that Zalazar felt really good at St. Pauli.

As a farewell, he wrote on Instagram: “I’m sure we’ll see each other again sometime.” Maybe it won’t take that long …
