This season has cost nerves!
Julian Nagelsmann (34) recently won his first title as head coach. German Champion 2022! But instead of a permanent party, the longest bowl hangover in the history of the league threatens in the last few weeks of this season.
Because Nagelsmann did win the league title, but his team was kicked out of the Champions League and DFB Cup far too early by Bayern standards.
One possible reason: The young coach became the face of the club during his first season, answering questions on and off the field on all topics.
Bayern reporter Heiko Niedderer says too much for the coach in the new episode “Stammplatz” of BILD’s daily football podcast.
Niedderer: “Nagelsmann likes to be in the public eye and moderated all crises well. But over the course of the season he also realized that it all takes a lot of strength.”
Strength that may have been lacking in the most important phase of the season!
Niedderer continues: “In the future, the bosses should be more present on topics that have nothing to do with football. In addition, Nagelsmann wants to give more to his assistants.”
This means that the coach will have more power next season to concentrate on the hunt for more titles with my team. Parts of it recently celebrated together in Ibiza after the poor performance in Mainz. Niedderer also talks about this in the podcast.
Other topics in the new “Stammplatz” episode:
► SC Freiburg loses its defense chief, but immediately hires a new one!
► Kevin-Prince Boateng should save Hertha from relegation.
