Fatal accident before Christmas Eve …
Football professional Deshazor Everett (29) came off the road outside of Washington with his Nissan GT-R, crashed into trees and overturned, the local sheriff’s office announced. The Washington Football Team player was admitted to the Reston Hospital Center, seriously injured. Everett’s life is in no danger. His co-driver († 29), however, succumbed to her serious injuries. The investigation into the course of the accident is ongoing.
According to the Washington Post, trainer Ron Rivera (59) said on Christmas Eve after training via video conference: “My thoughts and prayers are with the family of the young lady and also with Deshazor and his family. It’s a very difficult situation. “
Everett has played for Washington in the NFL since 2015 and appeared in all 14 games this season, mainly in the special teams. With his team, the defensive back had six wins and eight losses this season.
His club said, “We have been informed of a car accident involving Deshazor Everett. We express our deepest condolences to family and friends who have lost a loved one. Deshazor is currently in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the tragedy. “
