Delhivery shares listed on NSE at Rs 495.20 with a premium of 1.68%

Delhivery Listing Price: The listing of the shares of the logistics sector company Delhivery has been done at a premium today on 24 May. The shares of the company have been listed on BSE at Rs 493 with a premium of 1.23%. At the same time, its shares have been listed on NSE at a premium of 1.68% i.e. Rs 8.20 above the issue price at Rs 495.20.

The issue of the company opened on May 11 and closed on May 13. Delhivery’s IPO was subscribed 1.63 times. 10,17,04,080 bids were made against 6,25,41,023 shares of the company. The reserve share for retail investors was 57% subscribed. On the other hand, the portion of qualified institutional buyers has been booked 2.66 times. At the same time, 30% of the bidding was done on the part of non-institutional buyers.

Experts say that many people had raised questions about the valuation of Delhivery and called it expensive. Perhaps this was the reason why investors also kept distance from this IPO. Apart from this, many IPOs of new age companies have not done well in the recent past. Due to this also investors appeared a little cautious.

This was the price band

Delhivery has fixed the IPO’s price band at Rs 462-487 per share. The company is getting a valuation of Rs 35,283 crore from the upper level of the issue price. Shares were allotted to investors on May 19. The shares have been credited in the demat account on 23rd May.

Rs 5235 crore IPO

Delhivery has raised Rs 2346 crore from anchor investors. Last year, the company had filed its draft red herring prospectus (DHRP) with SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) to bring the IPO. This public issue includes a fresh issue of Rs 5,000 crore (Rs 4,000 crore). Apart from this, its existing investors in Delhivery are selling their stake in the company through IPO for Rs 1235 crore.
