Digilocker Services: Another new initiative has been started by the Central Government to take advantage of government services. Keeping in mind the needs of the general public, the government has started a special facility. MyGov said that from now on you can use Digilocker services on MyGov Helpdesk through Whatsapp.

Through this initiative started by the government, people’s access to government services will become much easier. DigiLocker, a major initiative under the Digital India program, aims to give people access to authentic documents through their digital document wallet.
Documents remain safe in digital wallet
Let us tell you that through DigiLocker, people can keep all their important documents safe in the digital wallet. Along with this, all the documents kept in this digital format are considered completely authentic and valid. All documents issued in DigiLocker are considered as valid as the original physical documents.
According to a statement, “Citizens can now access DigiLocker services through MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp… DigiLocker will be an important citizen service provided by MyGov on WhatsApp.”

Along with this, downloading documents like PAN card, driving license, vehicle registration certificate are included. WhatsApp users across the country can access the chatbot by sending ‘Hello’ or ‘Hi’ or ‘Digilocker’ to WhatsApp number +91 9013151515.

MyGov’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abhishek Singh said that the objective of this initiative is to make essential services accessible to citizens through an easily accessible platform of WhatsApp. Commenting on this new initiative, Shivnath Thukral, Director, WhatsApp said that it is an important step towards empowering the country digitally.
